Ruth Neufeld
Registered Clinical Counsellor · Counselling
Ruth's room is the quietest in the building. People come in carrying a lot and tend to leave carrying it differently.
Ruth has practised as a clinical counsellor for fourteen years, the last six in small towns, where she learned that privacy and trust are the same thing. Her approach draws on cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, held loosely: the method serves the person, not the other way around.
Much of her work is with capable people who kept it together until they couldn't: caregivers, health workers, small business owners, new parents. If that is you, you will not have to explain why you waited so long.
First sessions are for finding out whether the fit is right. She will say so plainly if she thinks someone else would serve you better.
Registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Mornings with Ruth start at 7:00.
Online booking shows current availability, or the front desk will find you a time that actually fits.
