Tomás Vela

Tomás trained in Victoria and apprenticed under a practitioner who timed treatments by the patient's breathing rather than the clock. He kept the habit. His sessions start with an unhurried conversation, because where a problem shows up is rarely the whole story of where it lives.

He works most often with pain, stress, and the kind of tiredness that sleep does not seem to touch, and he is comfortable working alongside the clinic's physiotherapists and counsellors on shared care plans.

If you have never had acupuncture, tell him. First-timers get extra explanation, finer needles, and as much or as little ceremony as they want.
